I, Anil Ayhan (he/him), am a warm-hearted, Turkish-born creative who has been based in Berlin for the past six years. With a deep passion for creativity, I work as a photographer and am the founder and art director of the queer artist platform EDGE Berlin.
My art highlights distinct faces and bodies, uncovering hidden elements and capturing the essence of my subjects. Through close collaboration with fellow artists and diverse individuals, I’ve developed a talent for recognizing the unique qualities that define people and helping them realize their full potential. By exploring faces, bodies, and provocations, I challenge viewers to see beauty in unexpected ways, transforming how we perceive the world around us.
Beyond photography, I extend my visual storytelling through graphic design. My approach blends striking compositions with bold, unexpected pops of color, creating a synergy between imagery and design. By incorporating layered textures, dynamic typography, and digital collages, I transform my photos into visually immersive experiences. This fusion of photography and graphic design allows me to build vibrant narratives, amplify emotions, and reshape perspectives—whether in editorial work, event visuals, or personal artistic projects. Through this interplay of mediums, I aim to push creative boundaries and craft visuals that feel both intimate and provocative.
