My involvement with UX Design dates back to 2004 when I was recruited, by the international education department of Schwarzkopf Professional. As a creative and lover of strategy and structure, this has led me into a multifaceted career, including extensive experiences in content creation and art direction.
At Schwarzkopf my first task was designing an e-learning tool for hair stylists around the world, using materials from inside the company. I really fell in love with the idea of solving problems via a collaborative and dynamic process. It involved:
- Information Architecture
- Stakeholder Management
- Workshop Organisation
- Testing & presenting results
After this, more projects followed and I also became responsible for project management and UI.
As I was represented by the prestigious Paris-based agency, Artlist, my creative career continued. This gave me the opportunity to travel the world and to collaborate with other talented creatives. I was involved in a variety of processes, from shooting editorial to complete advertising campaigns to runway shows, and I gained experience in all facets of these, everything from putting together a mood board at the very beginning of a project to realizing that vision on set.
Recently I decided to update my UX skills in choosing a 6-month course at the Career Foundry. I got introduced to User-Centered Design strategies and hands-on training to expand my capabilities on:
- Personas
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
I would enjoy becoming part of a bigger Berlin-based company. I have a strong interest in all topics regarding gender, ethnicity, and inclusion. I would be happy if my future employer would appreciate this as an asset to my UX work.
