I graduated from the“Product Design” program at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milano, Italy 2015). During my undergraduate study, I had my interior architecture internship at Koleksiyon, one of the largest furniture companies in Turkey. Throughout my study, I took part in various projects including brand identity formation (naming, logo and font preference, determining the main colors of the brand, banner designing), project visualization (sketch, drawing, graphic designing, prototyping, taking, and organizing photos, layout) and preparation of presentation files. I worked as a „Junior Interior Designer“ at Arima Architects, one of the leading architecture offices in Turkey between 2016 to 2017, and took part in the interior designing project of the building located in „Karaköy Pier“ (Istanbul).
I founded POTTERYA Design, an artistic hand-made pottery brand in 2017. I founded DER-S, an online concept store for the sales of women’s accessories like shawls, beach wraps, head wraps, and scarves along with hand-made candles in 2019. As well as the stages of idea and design, I personally address other processes such as financing, logistics, and marketing, including B2C.
- My entrepreneurship experience is a good model that best reveals my versatility and holistic perspective, which come to the fore as my key qualities.
- Designing changes and cannot be considered separately as life changes continuously. This brings up the need for design to get renewed and for a designer to get updated depending on the circumstances. Being able to use various Design Software is a great advantage, indeed. I keep searching out and learning about the things I do not know.
- As the design is human-oriented, I can understand the needs and requests of customers well as I am good at analyzing, listening to, and empathizing with the customers at the pre-project stage.
Every designer has a different taste and differences drive creativity. I believe I will offer added value to the company by incorporating unique differences into my designs. Though I do not differentiate between sectors, I am particularly interested in „Graphic Designer, UI Designer, and Product Designer“ roles in media, fashion, and e-commerce. As for location, I would like to work exclusively in Munich, Germany.
