Job Summary:

Increase the capacity that ICEF has to respond to in-house website and web application development projects. Design and produce dynamic web sites and landing pages. Back-end development experience desirable.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

● Work with existing team to deliver on company objectives ● Enhance websites based on Open Source Content Management systems ● Plan site design by clarifying goals and then designing functionality ● Upgrade site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology ● Keep up-to-date with industry standards by participating in educational opportunities e.g. reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations ● Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends ● Work with ICEF staff to clarify intent of new features, to resolve problems or to train them ● Analyze the performance of existing websites and test new website features before launching ● Provide assistance to other team members as needed ● Maintain open communication with managers ● Document problems and resolutions for future reference ● Manage multiple projects at one time ● Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

● Excellent computer skills
● Proficient knowledge of HTML/HTML 5
● Up to date knowledge of common website programming languages ● Working knowledge of PHP, Javascript and Javascript libraries such as JQUERY ● Experience or knowledge of Content Management Systems such as WordPress ● Knowledge of Symfony2 Framework ● Advanced understanding of CSS2/3 ● Some knowledge of the Yii PHP framework is a plus ● Graphic design skills ● Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO

Desired Skills and Qualities:

● 3+ years relevant work experience in web development/design ● Proficient knowledge in installing and configuring server software; applying programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links ● Solution-oriented ● Strong English communication skills ● Positive attitude: desire to complete a task to the highest standard ● Study Abroad experience would be a bonus
