Hi, I’m Joyce. I’m an Information and Communication Design bachelor student at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany. I come from the United States and have lived in Germany for four years, currently in Duisburg. I am a native English speaker but have around a B1 level in German, which I am still learning and expanding.
My main design interests are in Photography, Editorial Design, and User Experience Design (research/user testing side). I am an extremely organized and detail-oriented person with very high attention to detail, all skills which are useful in each of those fields.
I have a previous degree and work experience in [Front End] Web Development. Before coming to Germany to study design, I worked as a Webmaster for a local government (4 years), as a Graphic Marketing Assistant for an online retailer (3 years), and as a Web Designer/Developer for a publishing company (2 years).
