We’re an award winning team (Apple’s & Google’s “App of the Year 2015”) that has managed to attract more than 7 million users from all over the world with our previous products and we’re now building out HeyJobs to change the lives of millions of people. Based in Berlin, we have attracted 4 Million € in funding from some of the best investors across Europe.
But now its time for us to get help. We are looking for experienced react wizards that share our vision and want to build something exciting and fresh from the ground app. Our vision is to connect millions of people with great employers and jobs which match their personal interests and current life situation. Doing so will improve the lives of millions of people.
Your role
As a core member of our frontend team, you will build modern & mobile-first web interfaces and work with cutting edge technology. You will have direct influence on anything you build: We know what we want to do, but if you know a better solution, we will go your way!
Our tech stack is RoR 4.2.5, React, Redux, Xamarin C# cross-platform mobile development, etc. If you are a team player that can talk code and English and constantly thinking how to improve the user interface and user experience, we would love to hear from you!
Your profile:
You are a passionate engineer that loves to code
You are an excellent Frontend Developer with outstanding skills in JavaScript (ES6 ideally), HTML5, and CSS
You gained at least 3 years of experience in the implementation of professional web and mobile projects
You are a quality-minded person with a strong sense for design and aesthetic
You have extended experience with modern JavaScript frameworks,
Experience in working with React & Redux in production would be a plus
Ideally, you have significant experience in JavaScript unit testing & TDD
