Rie Sahara

born in 1977 in Japan, of school teachers parents.
Her father was a nature science teacher at elementary schools, he had a great influence on her basic idea such as art/culture and environmentaly friendly society, and free education.

After she graduated the unversity, her curiocity led her to travel on several countries with one backpack and one analogue camera, and gave her chances to photograph many wonderful moments.
After worked as an assitant photographer for some years in Tokyo, since 2004, started working as a freelance photographer for magazines and commercial field.
