Sarah von der Heide is an Illustrator, Designer for Visual Communication and Psychologist.
In her illustrative practice she loves to observe, draw and collage. She has a passion for people and portraits but also likes projects that require addressing complex issues with the right visual language. Her approach is diverse and always depending on a project’s features. Her clients include publishers, organizations and advertising studios as well as magazines like ZEITmagazin & GQ.
As a designer she has been working for Suburbia Agency (London) and Rocco Piscatello Design Centre (New York) before setting off as a freelancer in 2010.
Since then she has been active as a creative director and graphic designer for numerous clients with a recent focus on public cultural projects. She enjoys teaming up with talented colleagues, curators, architects and individuals from other disciplines.
In both fields she has received several awards and has worked as a lecturer for different educational institutions.
