Shira Kela

Shira Kela is a Berlin based director and artist. Born in Tel Aviv in 1987, she moved to Barcelona in 2010 to study media design at the renowned IED School. After completing her studies with a focus on video art, she moved to Berlin in 2013. Here she forged a number of fruitful collaborations and new artistic ventures. Her portfolio includes short films, music videos, video advertisements, video installations, interactive installations, photography, sculptures, and conceptual immersive events. Shira’s motivation is people and their surroundings, it is from there that she understands the messages she is trying to convey and asks questions that can create an honest dialogue.
