My last position was as a Supervising Producer & Project Manager for ‚School Cinema‘, based in Mumbai, India. This is a short-film based program, where we produced over 35 short films by Indian directors from the world of Bollywood, advertising, TV and non-commercial cinema. My responsibilities as the Executive Producer for the films from start-to-end included script development, production design, sourcing of crew, shoot & post supervision alongside coordination of all managerial aspects, including legal, financial and material delivery schedules. Several of the films have gone on to see international success at several film festivals. More details of the same are included in the attached profile.
Alongside production responsibilities, I also set up the creative, planning and marketing aspects of this startup venture, which eventually became one of the key business verticals for the company I worked for. My past work experience of over 9 years in the city of Mumbai, India also include stints in TV production, copywriting, concept creation & development and event management.
