For their forth round of salary negotiations in the year 2019 the buther’s union assigned me to create an illustrated image-campain to communicate their claims towards the employers’ representatives. The images are aiming to present the butcher’s to the public as the hardworking und unifiied labourers they are. I therefore went for illustration inspired by the workingclass-movements of the early 20th centur. The butcher’s are shown as workingclass heroes and heroines, defying the harsh working conditions while still standing up for their rights. The developed campaign contained eight different illustrations which were combined bold with slogans and shown in social media, on rollups, flyers and trade journals.
