My skill set and previous working achievements demonstrate what I feel is a very broad experience in many forms of media and communication.
This is something that I have greatly enjoyed over the years and has helped me to develop a wide range of abilities and appreciation for the various careers in the media world.
What I have to offer that perhaps other candidates don’t, is a dynamic background and the ability to be adaptable, flexible and bold. These talents have in turn gifted me personal skills in both confidence and initiative that would be of great benefit to any employer.
I am well-traveled and have a very global outlook in all that I do. Travel and new environments and culture are very welcome things for me. I can bring that foreign experience to employers closer to home or use those skills an abilities to enable me to work effectively much further afield, whichever the role demands.
I have held many positions of responsibility and been involved in the set up of two of my own small businesses. These experiences have taught me so much and as a result, I always welcome new challenges and am hungry to develop further and learn more.
I have a great interest in many different media roles. The most responsible and challenging position has been as a Producer for my own production company. For this reason I would love to develop further in another Producer or Co-Producer role.
However, I also love journalism, reporting, creative writing and photojournalism. I have worked very effectively in marketing and PR roles as well.
I am a good planner and organiser and have performed very well in management positions.
