Carla Pilla is a Brazilian illustrator, cartoonist and watercolorist, graduated in Advertisement and post-graduated in Graphic Expression. She studied Illustration for Children Books at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in London. In 2018, she moved to Berlin, Germany.
Carla created the cartoon strips Filé de Gato, which have already two published books, besides three children board games. She also illustrated for the Brazilian columnist Martha Medeiros at Zero Hora newspaper during three years.
Until the moment, Carla has illustrated more than 30 children books, to various Brazilian publishers, besides didactics, editorial and advertisement illustrations. Along ten years working as illustrator and eight years as cartoonist, she participated of many fairs, exhibitions, round tables and interviews.
