I’m specialised in shooting installation views of artworks in art exhibitions, individual reproductions and valuable objects/products, in my own studio or in other photo studios, producing clean and minimal images as well as very articulate and unusual. I like to propose my view and suggest creative solutions to the client, when required. I’m an experienced digital editor. I work both for publishing images online as well as to produce catalogues and publications.
I studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Brera in Milan, Italy, and in the Fine Arts Academy in Salamanca, Spain. Since 2009 I have worked as a photographer with contemporary art galleries and collectors as well as collaborating for individual projects with artists or designers. I like to work with Start-ups and young creatives to create unique images of their products. I have worked on a variety of different projects in contemporary art museums/foundations/galleries – Tate Modern (London), Martin Gropius Bau (Berlin), Hamburger Bahnhof (Berlin), Fondazione Prada (Milan, Miami), Schering Stiftung (Berlin), Esther Schipper (Berlin), Gun Gallery (Stochkolm) and for many contemporary artists such as Carsten Höller, Jan Fabre, Jenny Holzer, Philippe Parreno, and Thomas Saraceno.
Since 2012 I document performance and theatre pieces, with a lot of interest for Asian dance and teaching. I shoot in many theatres and project spaces in Berlin and Germany (Dock11, Sophiensaele, Acud Theatre, Tatwerk, Künstlerhaus Bethanien), and in collaboration with Japanese performance masters like Yuko Kaseki, Minako Seki and Masaki Iwana as well as with the young dance scene.
