WASH United is an international non-profit organisation headquartered in Berlin. WASH United’s team brings together experts in development in cooperation with professionals from the creative industry to develop new, innovative solutions for global challenges in the areas of safe WAter, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). We advocate for the human rights to water and sanitation, develop scalable, play-based education materials, and initiate large-scale communication campaigns. Currently, our focus is to break the taboo around menstruation and create a world in which all women and girls can manage their periods safely, hygienically, with dignity and without shame.
