A Weed And Candy & Urban Tree Music Production

In order to catch the spirit and original vibe of the Youth Riddim Selection we decided to create a rather unusual video presentation. In cooperation with Weed & Candy – Design and Illustration specialist from Berlin – we built the amazing world of „George“. Made of plasticine, this little sympathetic fella who is a music lover and our very own Youth Riddim video promoter steps into his room to drag everyone else in.

Being a stickler for details it took us many hours of dedication and a very big portion of our hearts to produce 3 uncommon video snippets. Two viral forerunners called „Fliege mit Bart“ and „Mutter im Bad“ introduced George’s room and his mother. Now with the final video presentation we hope we can deliver an enjoyable, original way to present the Youth Riddim Selection for what it is: extraordinairy music made with a lot of dedication and a big portion of our hearts.

In the past five years much has taken place in the German reggae scene. And while some hypes come and go it seems that one thing has remained constant: the presence of European sounds and producers internationally. There are without a doubt also a number of authentic artists who can compete on the international stage. It seems that what we once witnessed with the german „Too Long“ Riddim six years ago, is unquestionably taken place once more today with the „Youth“ Riddim.
