Markenfilm, based in Hamburg and Berlin, is an advertising film production company that has been operating successfully on the market for over 60 years and is Europe’s largest production company. We are currently looking for a
full-time Director’s Scout (m/f/d) in Hamburg or Berlin to inspire, strengthen and enrich our creative and talent team with a fresh perspective.
Your role
As a Director’s Scout, you will have your finger on the pulse of the international advertising and film scene. You will discover new directing talent, observe relevant trends and support our team in the strategic development of our portfolio. You will work closely with our directing, creative and production departments, organise internal processes and represent Markenfilm at relevant events and festivals.
What you bring to the table - Ambition and creativity – you are passionate about good ideas, powerful images and moving stories.
- Structured working style & organisational skills – you can design processes in a comprehensible way and maintain an
overview even when dealing with many parallel topics.
- Interest in industry events and festivals – you enjoy attending relevant events, networking and observing international
developments.
- Knowledge of the advertising and film industry – whether through initial professional experience, studies or your own
enthusiasm.
- Openness, communicative and sociable nature – you enjoy actively approaching people.
- Fluent German skills – Strong German language skills are essential.
- Team player – you enjoy working collaboratively, are reliable and professional.
- Aesthetic sensibility – you immediately recognise aesthetic quality and narrative strength.
- Optional, but advantageous: an existing network or well-established industry contacts.
