In this case study we showcased the Windkessel effect. Here the interaction between the stroke volume and the compliance of the aorta creates the shape of the arterial blood pressure waveform. We created the animation in 3dsmax 2014 using a physiques based mparticles flow, animated pflow collision shapes and wind forces to create the back draft.
